It must be obvious to all that Philip Dunn has an obsession not only with deckchairs but with the particular filigree pattern of shadows that are projected, as the sun is setting, from the railings on what locals still call the Palace Pier.  However, just for a change, here the stripes on the deckchairs are minimal and an optimistic orange hue suffuses the whole seen, so let us hope tomorrow is another nice day.
